How to enter the Museum System of Roma Capitale and Green Pass
GREEN PASS
With reference to Legislative Decree July 23, 2021 n. 105 and to the recommendations of the Ministry of Health in order to face the epidemiological emergency from Covid19, starting from August 6, access to museums, archaeological sites, places of culture (including the Forum of Augustus and the Capitoline Historical Archive), and exhibitions is only allowed to visitors having one of the Covid19 Green Pass certificates (in digital or paper format) capable of certifying - together with a valid identity document -:
- to have had at least a single dose administration of vaccine;
- to have a negative test for a molecular or rapid swab within the last 48 hours;
- to have recovered from Covid19 in the previous six months.
The following provisions apply to countries belonging to lists A and C (with reference to the lists that can be downloaded from the website www.viaggiaresicuri.it of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation).
With reference to entry from the following countries : Israel, Canada, Japan and the United States ; it should be noted that in relation to vaccination certifications issued by the health authorities of the abovementioned countries, in accordance with the provisions of EU Recommendation no. 2021/912 of May 20, 2021, they must contain at least the following data:
- identification of the person;
- type of vaccine and the date (s) of administration.
The COVID-19 green Certification is not required for children excluded by age from the vaccination campaign (under 12 years of age) and for people exempt on the basis of adequate medical certification.
Please note that certificates can only be accepted if in Italian, English, French or Spanish. If the certificate was neither issued in bilingual form nor in one of the four languages indicated by the Ordinance of the Minister of Health of June 18, 2021, it must be accompanied by a sworn translation.
The methods of visiting and accessing the places remain unchanged (capacity, use of the mask, temperature control, etc.).
People who purchased the ticket before July 23, 2021 (date of publication of the Law Decree) not having the green certification yet, can request the change of the ticket date by writing to cambiodata@museiincomuneroma.it
HEALTH MEASURES TO BE TAKEN IN ALL MUSEUMS:
- access to the Museum is permitted only with a mask, except for the open spaces;
- the thermoscanner must be passed before entering the Museum. If the temperature exceeds 37.5°, access will not be permitted;
- It is recommended to carry only small bags;
- Inside the museum it is necessary to maintain a safe distance and avoid crowds, unless you are a family.
MUSEUMS FOR A FEE
It is strongly recommended that everyone pre-purchase their tickets online with a shift assignment.
At the access control, during the time of your shift, you must show your ticket in digital form or the printed purchase receip with Print @ Home, thus avoiding having to go to the ticket office.
GROUPS at the museums on payment
Groups, from a minimum of 5 to a maximum of 15 people + guide, can only be admitted by booking free of charge at 060608 and buying at least 5 tickets for the Capitoline Museums and 2 tickets for the other museums. The remaining tickets can be paid for on the spot at the time of the visit.
Groups must be equipped with their own radio guide or portable amplifier, ensuring that people are spaced out, which may be distributed in different rooms according to the capacity of the halls.
The information on groups applies only to museums and not to exhibitions with separate tickets, whose access arrangements may differ depending on the capacity of the rooms.
FREE MUSEUMS
Free admission tickets can be obtained by calling 060608 within half an hour from the time of the visit, or by going directly to the museum (in compliance with the spacing and anti-coveting regulations in force) within the limits of the capacity of the exhibition halls and the individual time slots. Those who come directly to the museum must leave their personal details (name, surname, email, telephone), after having read the information notice placed at the ticket offices, as required by current regulations.
GROUPS in free museums
Groups must consist of a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 15 people + guide, and must be booked free of charge on 060608.
Groups must be equipped with their own radio guide or portable amplifier, ensuring that people are spaced out and, if necessary, depending on the capacity of the rooms, will be distributed in different rooms.
